We’re a friendly graphic design agency based in Bristol looking for an experienced graphic designer with strong digital skills and a passion for creativity. You’ll have at least 5 years’ professional experience for this role with a proven track record and plenty of original ideas up your sleeve.
You’ll be involved in a variety of projects ranging from print and motion graphics to information design. Forming an integral part of our design team you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients designing everything from brochures to infographics. With a strong understanding of the technical aspects of digital design you’ll have an excellent working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and After Effects along with strong layout and typography skills. You’ll be a confident user of HTML and CSS and familiar with the most popular content management systems. Experience using WordPress is essential for the role.
While managing a varied workload you’ll need to be a fast learner and have a real talent for problem solving. A strong communicator you’ll present new design concepts with confidence and be happy to receive feedback from the Creative Director or Senior Designers. An eye for detail down to the last pixel and ensuring your work is done to the highest possible standards is crucial. You’ll have the ability to manage deadlines efficiently and have a good knowledge of previous and current trends.
Strong interpersonal skills are a must for this post as well as bundles of enthusiasm and a genuine passion for design. An interest in sustainability and social issues would be advantageous as this is high on the agenda for many of our regular clients. Finally you’ll be an excellent team worker and relish the opportunity for a biscuit-dunking break with co-workers when required.
If this sounds like you, please apply and tell us why you’d be suitable for the post. Send us a cover letter, a PDF or weblink to some of your best work as well as your CV and salary expectations.
